Living by the sea requires a special sensitivity from architecture – how to create a home that can withstand both storms and moments of calm. In the case of this private house, we faced the challenge of how to combine modern comfort with the charm of the ruggedness and beauty of the maritime environment.

Our solution was based on the harmony of contrasts. A dark, weatherproof outer shell protects the home from the sea winds, while warm wood accents create an inviting and human living environment. Through large glass surfaces, we bring the sea directly into the room – both as light and as an ever-changing view.

Inside, every detail speaks of the proximity of the sea. Dark gray marble is reminiscent of the sea’s amber, the warmth of natural wood balances the coolness of glass and stone, while the open plan allows the sea to flow freely in. The result is a home where the rhythm of the sea becomes the beat of everyday life – calm yet dynamic, timeless yet lively.
