In the immediate vicinity of Kadriorg Park, Oru House will be built, which will become a bridge between traditional Kadriorg and modern urban development in the spring of 2026.
This is not just another apartment building, but a 2,960 m² architectural statement on how to respect the historical context while creating modern living environments. By preserving the oak tree at the heart of the property and designing the building around it, we are creating architecture that respects nature and history. The fifth floor with its setbacks and the rounded eaves give the house a romantic Kadriorg feel, while the 53 kW solar panel park confirms the commitment to sustainability.
The location of Oru Maja is a strategic point where the perspectives of Kadriorg Park, the Song Festival Grounds and the sea intersect. The height differences of the property have been cleverly used to ensure that the first floor is partially hidden from the landscape, minimizing the visual impact on neighboring properties. The oak tree growing in the center of the plot becomes the compositional focal point of the building. The glass-fronted atrium that surrounds the tree brings natural light into the heart of the building.
The 56-space underground parking lot does not visually compete with the building’s architecture. The architectural identity of Oru Maja is born from the elegant interaction of dark gray brick and wooden details. The 4-5-story composition of the building is carefully calculated – the ground floor being partially buried in the ground avoids steep steps, while the fifth floor with setbacks makes the building feel more airy.
