Tartumaa private garden demonstrates a skillful balance between modern design and a natural environment. The project creates a harmonious dialogue between architecture and landscape, where each element is carefully thought out. The solution uses natural materials – wood and stone – creating a smooth transition between the building and the surrounding forest.

The heart of the project is the use of warm-toned materials. Natural wood forms the main material of both the terraces and seating areas, providing visual warmth and tactile pleasure. The slatted board used on the terrace creates a rhythmic pattern that leads the eye smoothly across the different planes.

The use of stone materials gives the project visual weight and stability. Natural granite rubble forms a contrast next to the wood, emphasizing the functionality of the different zones. Metal planters create a modern accent, combining practicality and design.
